San Miguel with it's popular Wednesday market is only 5 minutes drive away. Many delightful local villages are still to be found in this area with orange and lemon plantations and is ideal for walking and cycling. There are many blue flag beaches along the coast were you can enjoy water skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing, and jet skiing. There are also numerous Salinas (salt flats) hosting an interesting collection of birds including flamingos.
 

The apartment and the townhouse are situated in an idyllic location close to a communal pool, the Villa Martin plaza and all the amenities. Here you will find a large selection of bars, restaurants, a bank, a supermarket, a hair salon boutique, chemist, golf shop, therapy massage salon, indoor bowls and tennis. You are close to three fine golf courses plus many more only a short drive away.

There is a fantastic choice of blue flag beaches within a five and a ten minute drive. The nearest beach, La Zenia is only 4kms away and an hourly bus service is available during the summer months. Regular busses go from La Zenia to Torrevieja and Alicante or Cartagena. (15-20 mins to Torrevieja).

Torrevieja is approximately 5 km away and is a typical Spanish town, with a marina, market stalls, bars, restaurants, nightclubs as well as excellent shopping. Local activities include cycling, fishing, horse riding, tennis, walking and aqua parks.
